Making money and being a Capitalist are often conflated. They are not the same thing. Money is a resource we need in order to survive within a Capitalist system.

Trying to build a life in the arts, I often found myself needing more money but fearing that if I made more, I was not living in alignment with my anti-Capitalist values. The reality was that all that happened was that I made less money and couldn't fund my art or my life.
